Call for international solidarity with revolutionary political prisoners in Turkey who are on Death Fast for justice

Dear comrades,

The world in which we all live, today is dominated by the capitalist system and its highest stage imperialism, and for the last 50 years, it has been in its period of neo-liberalism. Because of these specific conditions, the system is experiencing almost continuous crises, which find their most direct expression in the military conflicts between the capitalist countries. In this way, they are trying to resolve their contradictions and find a way out of the crisis of the system. What humanity has witnessed in recent months is precisely this.

We Hear the Praises in the cursing- Aytaç ÜNSAL

December 25, 2020

Dear Colleagues,

Lenin says; “We hear the praises and applause in the cursing.”

We have seen once again how effective our struggle for justice is. As I write these lines to you, today was the 20th anniversary of the December 19 Massacre.

Anthems rose from all over the prison.

These prisons and isolation program, which were opened by those who said “We cannot implement the IMF program without solving the prisons problem” 20 years ago, have already gone to the garbage of history. By stating “Type F is no longer Type F” they confessed the bankruptcy themselves. They could not implement the isolation they wanted to apply as they wanted. Of course, in return for the lives of 122 people, the captivity of thousands of people, and all the efforts spent.

So the sounds I hear today were like a symphony of victory. I am writing to you with this pride and enthusiasm. And I believe with all my heart that the terror of detention and arrest will be remembered in the same way. We will overcome this unlawfulness!

They arrested me again, although I had already postponed the execution and my health was bad. Everyone does what suits their own morals. We will do what suits our own morals. If only we had our heads left, we would resist in the square.
We will weave life, which is a march of resistance, with our struggle for justice.

I’m not in a position to be alone, but I’m still alone on quarantine grounds. I wanted to write briefly in case you were curious. My mind is always with you.

I love you very much.

With Resistance

Aytaç

A revolutionary lawyer died in Istanbul hospital after 238 days of Death Fast demanding fair trial and independent justice

Lawyer Ebru Timtik, who had been on a Death Fast (hunger strike till death) for 238 days, demanding a fair trial, died on the evening of August 27, 2020, at Sadi Konuk Hospital in Istanbul’s Bakırköy district. Lawyer Timtik and her fellow lawyer, Aytaç Ünsal, went on an indefinite hunger strike earlier this year against their unjust sentences based on false testimonies given by police informants. In April, the two lawyers announced that they were turning their protest into a Death Fast that would continue until their main demand – a fair trial – was accepted by the fascist oligarchy in Turkey. On September 4, lawyer Aytaç Ünsal announced that he was ending the Death Fast after concrete steps were taken to accept the demands raised at the beginning of the protest. Statement of the People’s Law Office regarding the judgement of the Supreme Court on the imprisoned CHD lawyers…

THE SUPREME COURT HAS APPROVED THE SENTENCES OF THE 14 PEOPLE’S LAWYERS!

HISTORY HAS OVERTURRNED ALL THE SENTENCES GIVEN TO US!

THE DECISION GIVEN BY THE SUPREME COURT IS INVALID!

Announcing the decision number on 3 September 2020, the 16th Criminal Chamber of the Supreme Court of Appeals announced its reasoned decision today (15 September 2020). The content of the aforementioned decision shows the point where the Supreme Court has come and that it makes a decision with instructions. The Supreme Court has trampled all of its principled decisions and jurisprudence, which it has formed over the decades, to uphold the sentences given to the lawyers of the people.

Death Fasting lawyer in critical health condition as the oligarchy in Turkey still not accept the demand for fair trial and justice

The health condition of lawyer Ebru Timtik, who has been on a Death Fast(hunger strike till death) since the beginning of this year, demanding a new fair trial, is critical, the lawyer’s relatives and colleagues said. At the end of July, Timtik, who has been on Death Fast for months together with fellow lawyer Aytaç Ünsal, were forcibly taken from their cells at Silivri Prison located near Istanbul and taken to two separate hospitals in the city, where they were threatened with forced medical intervention, which is an extremely brutal form of torture used by the fascist oligarchy in Turkey to end hunger strikes by using excessive force.
